Notes and extracts, chiefly from manuscripts at the Ashmolean Museum, containing poetry, biographical and historical sketches, ballads, and other materials concerning Thomas Campion, Thomas Beckett, Edward III, treasons against Queen Elizabeth, the genealogy of the Weston family, and other subjects. The bound volume contains the Battle of Finsborough in Old English verse, a portion of Guy of Warwick in Old French, and some French sonnets.
